My New Store at Etsy

I’m excited to announce that I recently opened a new store: MarcyCoateDesigns at Etsy. Here are some product previews:

One thing I really enjoy about Etsy as opposed to other digital design platforms where I’m selling is that I have 100% control over the Terms of Use that I am allowed to offer. Most design sites have a “canned” TOU, and unfortunately the majority are not very CU friendly (commercial use).

If you’re looking for commercial use digital designs you’ll be glad to know that the standard terms of use in my Etsy shop allow for use of my designs by scrapbook designers, planner sticker designers and more. Since my TOU at Etsy is very generous, you may notice a slightly higher price on some products (as compared to other sites where my designs are sold). The reason for the price difference is the generous CU license.

Here’s a copy of my standard license as of February 4, 2017. Be sure to read the TOU on each product before you buy, because I may update terms at a later date, or have different terms on a specific product.

OK for small commercial use (this means a small business with a single owner, or an individual crafter). It is not necessary to credit me. No additional license* is required (see below if you are not single owner business or individual crafter).

You may use my designs for, scrapbooking, printables, invitations, banners, websites, logos, blogs, card making, planner packs and stickers, etc.

You can print as many copies as you wish, and sell the prints. You may create an unlimited number of physical products to sell using these files, such as t-shirts, mugs, totes and more, but you may NOT upload my designs to print on demand sites, platforms, apps or kiosks.

DO NOT sell or share my designs in any format. You cannot simply convert them to a new file format and sell them (for example you cannot take one of my PNG files and convert it to SVG and sell it). You must use my design(s) to make something new and then you can sell the new digital files (in a flattened format only).

*If you are not an individual crafter or small business with a single owner, please contact me for specific licensing information.

Let me know if you have any questions about my TOU. I’m happy to work with you, if you have special requests.
